about
The son of a whisky distiller, Owen’s lived at a number of distilleries over his younger years. It was whilst living at Balmenach, outside Grantown-on-Spey, that 16 year old Owen was walking home from a party in Faebuie. He and his pals had been fully enjoying the freedom that a parent-less house in the Highlands offers. A downside, though, of living so remotely is the lack of streetlights. Circumstances conspired against Owen, and his walk home ended up in a ditch full of icy, muddy water.

Waited until I got to the CD and getting it through the letterbox before posting a comment. A really great album. From first to last, not a bad piece. And well thought through before selecting the place of each piece on the album. The singing and the songs are beautiful. Don't know how I missed it when it first came out.
Must be getting old. Terry McCarron
